As we move toward the New Year and consider resolutions, it’s hard to get overwhelmed by all of the dreams and possibilities.  Sometimes it’s best to keep it simple and look for the easy choices. Fit Together in Action September News Torrington Kids Marathon 2021 The kid's marathon program is in full swing at the Torrington schools and it looks a bit different, but our message is the same finishing is winning and winning is finishing. We usually kick off this event in the spring with a final mile celebration in June but since the pandemic our kids have missed out on this special occasion.   This year we are getting kids moving with 13.1 miles or a half marathon in the fall, gearing them up for the full 26.2 miles this spring. Transitions can sometimes cause stress and anxiety, but planning and adjusting habits can go a long way in helping kids to manage and thrive. Exercise and stay physically active.
