Fit Together in Action March News
Partner Highlights: Jessica Stewart Visits Goshen Center School and James Morris School
Having not visited two of our silver partners since the COVID-19 pandemic, it was very exciting to tour the Goshen Center School with school nurse Julia Turtoro. The school recently installed a book vending machine that takes special gold tokens which students earn by attending school events and for being respectful, responsible, or safe.
At James Morris School, I viewed the giant flower and vegetable beds with school nurse Karen Prada. Students are excited to watch flowers and vegetables come to life in their own playground. Both schools continue to support Fit Together’s mission by keeping students active and enforcing healthy lifestyle choices.
I look forward to sharing my experiences visiting Warren School and Center School in Litchfield in April.
