HEAL Grant Applications Due 6/30!

Grant Application for Healthy Eating Active Living Projects

Don’t forget! We are still accepting grant applications for Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Projects! There is $10,000-$15,000 available for non-profit partners within Torrington and Winchester. Applications must detail how the funds will be used to promote increased physical activity and healthy eating choices in the community.  Full applications are due June 30, 2025.

Free Yoga – Torrington & Winsted

Free Summer Yoga - Torrington, Winsted, CT

Whether you are a seasoned Yogi, or someone who is looking to try yoga for the first time, you can enjoy weekly outdoor yoga classes for FREE in Torrington and Winsted. Details and weekly reminders will be shared on our Facebook page.  Registration is not required.

Free Yoga Tuesdays – Coe Park, Torrington

Tuesdays, 4:30-5:15, 7/1-8/19/25

Enjoy a yoga flow class from Sanctuary Power Yoga in Coe Park. The class is suitable for all fitness levels. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and your friends!  Visit Sanctuary Power Yoga for more details.

Free Yoga Wednesdays & Fridays – Manor Playground, Winsted

Wednesday Nights, 6:30-7:30 pm, 6/4-7/23/25

Friday Mornings, 10-11 am, 6/6-7/25/25 [No Class 7/4/25]

Join instructor, Anna Rose, for this weekly yoga class at Manor Playground (Corner of Oakdale Ave and Glendale Ave). Don’t forget your yoga mat or towel and water.
